Band performs with iPhones after instruments stolen

"Take Me Out" performed on NYC subway


Brooklyn-based alternative rock band Atomic Tom organized an impromptu performance using only iPhones and a battery-powered speaker system. Using apps for vocals, keyboards, guitar and drums, the band members played "Take Me Out," the lead single from their debut album The Moment, on a New York City subway train.

The B train performance appears to be a new idea for the group, after their instruments were all stolen earlier in the month. [via The Daily What]

    Thanks for sharing such a unique concert by a very innovative band. They are terrific with their previous instruments and just as good with their new ones.
