Gamers explore Renaissance Italy as an assassin
UbiSoft has released an update to its stealth-based action game, Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition. The game tracks Ezio Auditore da Firenze in a story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in Renaissance Italy. Gamers befriend Leonardo da Vinci, fight Florence's most powerful families and explore the canals of Venice while learning master assassin skills.
The latest edition adds three new maps. Gamers can now explore some of the Renaissance's most unique monuments to reveal secret treasures in three special in-game maps covering the Palazzo Medici, Santa Maria Dei Frari, and the Arsenal Shipyard.
The game requires Mac OS X 10.5 and a Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz processor, 3GB of RAM and either a 256 MB ATI Radeon HD 4000/5000 series or an NVIDIA GeForceŽ 100/200 series video card. Mac notebook cards may work but are not officially supported. Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition is available today for $35.
