SwitchEasy offers colored home button with new case

Casing includes button coating, vibrant hues

In the race for each iPod Touch 4G case manufacturer to distinguish themselves from the competition, companies strive for quality materials, protection levels or coloring to make their product stand out. Only SwitchEasy, however, thought of changing the color of the home button with a tactile, glossy jellybean-style coating incorporated into their silicone case line, called Colors.

The cases, which come in a variety of citrus and other vibrant colors, feature a matching jellybean home button covering that keeps the tactile sensation (the black model offers a striking red button, the only case that does a contrasting rather than complementing choice for the home button). The cases are also distinguished by their lack of logo design on the visible parts, and a coated silicone that provides a measure of shock protection.

Purchasers also get a microfibre wipe, two anti-static screen guards, and two each of headphone jack and 30-pin dock protectors. The nine color choices offered are Stealth, Mican, Milk, Crimson, Viola, Saffron, Citrus, Turquoise and Fuchsia.

The SwitchEasy Colors case for the iPod Touch 4G retails for $15.
