'Completely redesigned' St. Louis store to open on Saturday

A "completely redesigned" Saint Louis Galleria Apple Store will open this Saturday at 9AM, Apple has announced. The shop will replace an earlier mini-store, and move to a space on the upper level of the mall occupying more than 6,000 square feet, with an entrance 55 feet wide. It will reportedly be Apple's largest-ever shop located inside a mall.
A series of workshops have already been scheduled from Sunday onwards; the first 1,000 visitors to the store will get a free t-shirt. Still uncertain are plans for a lounge area in front, which is expected to have free Wi-Fi and allow people to check in for Genius Bar appointments. The area most recently belonged to Starbucks Coffee.
