Microsoft sends out invites to WP7 event
(Updated: T-Mobile is separate) Microsoft has sent out the official media invitation to its Windows Phone 7 event next Monday in New York. The event will be kicked off at 9:30AM with a speech by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer along with AT&T Mobility President Ralph de la Vega. This confirms the earlier report of AT&T's attendance, and T-Mobile will also be in the area with its Windows Phone 7-powered devices.
It's still not confirmed which manufacturers will show off WP7 devices, but they are expected to include at least the HTC HD7 and Mondrian, LG's Optimus 7 and Optimus T, and the Samsung Cetus.
Microsoft will also take the opportunity to show off its other products, brands and services, including Zune, Windows Phone 7, Bing, Windows 7, Xbox, Kinect and more.
The same day will see a very similar event in London, also believed to roll out and introduce Windows Phone 7 devices as the focus.
Update: T-Mobile was unusually pulled from any mention in the official Microsoft page, but it will have a separate event that day.
