Testing focus keeps to six areas
Apple is reportedly seeding a sixth beta of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to developers. Known as build 10H548, the beta follows over two weeks after 10H542, which was distributed on September 14th. The last two releases have broken away from an earlier, weekly update schedule.
No known issues are listed in 10H548's accompanying notes. Suggested testing areas remain the same, including Mail, iCal, QuickTime, Time Machine, 3D rendering and handling of USB devices. Owing in part to a disrupted release pattern, it's unclear when v10.6.5 might be pushed to the public through Software Update.
