GraphicConverter 7 upgrades user interface

updated 09:15 pm EDT, Fri October 1, 2010

Multiple processor support added in v7

Lemkesoft has launched GraphicConverter 7, featuring a new interface for the photo converting software. GraphicConverter specializes in handling numerous and unique images formats, importing over 200 formats and exporting over 80, often managing unusual variants of standard formats. It also generates catalogs for the web or print and handles RAW photos. It can import directly from cameras or flash cards and has a TWAIN interface for operating a scanner. The software has a picture browser and can generate slideshows.

GraphicConverter 7 features a new, modernized user interface. It adds geodata map representation and a new multiple-conversion window. Other new features include an improved preferences dialog, stepless zooming on browser preview images and multiple processor support.

Version 7 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher, though the software is widely recognized for carbon versions that support the Mac back to the days of Mac OS 8.6 and 9.2. GraphicConverter 7 is $40.
