Booq introduces Boa Folio with iPhone pocket

updated 07:25 pm EDT, Wed September 29, 2010

Case for iPad comes in leather or nylon

Booq has today unveiled a new line of iPad carrying cases aimed at creative professionals, dubbed the Boa Folio, in either Nappa leather ($90) or a ballistic nylon style ($50). The standout feature of the Boa Folio line is a iPhone-specific exterior pocket on the front flap, as well as a large document pocket on the inside.

The case also features the now-standard three-position design, which offers a slightly elevated view for typing, a near-vertical stance for movie and presentation viewing along with the usual flat position. The Boa Folio also has a molded bumper interior for a tight fit and protection against drops for the iPad, and a closing strap to protect against unwanted opening as well as offering some screen protection.

The Boa Folia is now shipping and is available in gray or sand (turquoise interior) for the Nappa leather version, or black (red interior), berry or slate (nylon version).
