Samsung Cetus surfaces in Canada, compared to iPhone 4

Samsung Cetus gets Canadian photo leak

The Samsung Cetus is now known to be reaching other countries as a snapshot today has shown the Windows Phone 7 device running on Rogers in Canada. The model seen by Engadget has a slightly different i916 badge and may simply reflect an international or Canada-specific edition. Its only visible difference is the absence of a Samsung logo that's likely to be replaced with Rogers' own.

An iPhone 4 was put alongside the Cetus in lone image and shows that it's only slightly bigger despite the larger, higher contrast display. The Cetus should use the same four-inch Super AMOLED screen as the Galaxy S and should share its 1GHz processor and five-megapixel camera as well. Samsung is only including 8GB of internal storage, however, versus the 16GB in the Android phone.

It's unknown when WP7 will reach Canada; the international launch is slated for October, but this would focus primarily on Europe. US releases aren't due until November.
