Manages, opens files from cloud services
SMEStorage will soon be releasing an update to their existing iSMEStorage app for iPhone and iPad, to be renamed CloudDav after the technology it uses, which will enable iPad iWork users to edit and save documents stored on a variety of third-party "cloud" storage services, even if they are not normally WebDAV enabled.
The app allows users to aggregate and manage files stored on various online storage servers using a "virtual" cloud file system. It takes advantage of iWork for iPad's recent gaining of WebDAV support.
In addition to some of the larger services such as Amazon's S3, Google Docs and MobileMe, CloudDav will also support RackSpace Cloud Files, Box.net, Mezeo, Microsoft Live Mesh, Microsoft SkyDrive, Gmail (gDrive), Email-as-Cloud, FTP, and any WebDAV enabled cloud. A free SMEStorage account is required.
Currently, the iSMEStorage app allows users to store documents on their only cloud service, with the CloudDav Gateway being a $5 add-on. Until the end of the year, however, existing users can send the company a screenshot of their device with the login name visible, and the company will add the WebDAV service to their account for free. The current iPhone/iPad app sells for $4.

Head in the clouds...
..or down in your a**?
Zoinks!
Clouds are OK, but the EVERYTHING in the cloud crowd are seeing stars. I like things on terra firma in my lap(top).
Had to get that off my shiny dome. The cloud as panacea junk makes me nuts.
Zoinks!!!!
