Thieves steal $24K in merchandise from Illinois Apple Store

The Apple Store at Main Place shopping village in Naperville, Illinois (about 25 miles west of downtown Chicago) was burgled early this morning. Thieves broke the glass front of the store in the early hours and made off with approximately $24,000 worth of merchandise, according to police reports.
Police responded to an alarm at the store at 3:45am, discovered the shattered glass entry, searched the store and notified employees. Surveillance footage from the store is currently being reviewed as part of the investigation.

I guess it's only a matter of time before
iron gates become part of the Apple Store design. I'm sure breaking some glass to get to Apple products is a bit to much to resist.
