Two new adventure games for Mac

Macgamestore.com has announced that Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – Director’s Cut and Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror are now available for the Mac. Originally released in 1996, Broken Sword follows journalist Nico Collard and George Stobbart as they are thrown into a dangerous conspiracy full of murder and intrigue. In the Director’s Cut two additional hours of gameplay have been added, along with new facial expressions, enhanced audio, and new first person perspective minigames. Also incorporated is a new help system to provide assistance when necessary.

Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror Continues to follow George Stobbart who has witnessed the kidnapping of his now girlfriend Nico Collard, and must break Nico out while uncovering a secret drug ring that’s related to the redemption of a Mayan god. Included in the game are over 60 characters to interact with, hundreds of puzzles and clues to collect, and a variety of detailed locations to explore. Music provided was composed by the world-famous Barrington Pheloung.

Both Broken Sword games are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher, and are available from Macgamestore.com for $10 each.
