Media registration for the upcoming Macworld Expo has been opened, while 5dollarapps has announced the launch of a new alarm application with built-in Google Calendar integration
Media registration for the 2011 Macworld conference, set to take place from January 26 until the 29th, is now open. The annual event, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, will offer previews and demonstrations of the latest Apple-related products, including hardware, software, accessories, and services. Other planned events include a Mobile Apps Showcase and an Indie Spotlight, allowing developers to showcase their latest software titles. To qualify for a media badge, the applicant must submit a link to both a masthead and article that clearly displays their name. Additional registration information and application forms can be found on the Macworld website.
iAlarm, featuring Google Calendar integration, has been released
A new alarm application featuring Google Calendar integration has been released by 5dollarapps. iAlarm allows users to manage tasks, reminders, appointments, and any other events all within one interface. Each alarm added into the software can be organized into one of nine categories, and can be set up as a recursive alarm that repeats daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Users with a Google account can also have the software automatically sync all events to an "iAlarm" calendar within Google Calendar. A 10-day trial of the software can be downloaded from the company's website, while a full license costs $10.
