Justin.tv app upgrades
Best Buy is offering a trade-in program that provides people with instant credit for older iPods, while Justin.tv has released an update to its mobile software that adds live video streaming.
Best Buy has launched a new trade-in program, offering people instant credit in exchange for older iPod models. Those interested should check the company's website for an estimate of their iPod's value, along with information on any exclusions that might apply. To receive an actual evaluation of a device, people must bring a player to a Geek Squad counter at a US Best Buy store. After the condition of an iPod is checked, an appropriate gift card should be handed out.
Justin.tv mobile app gains live streaming
Justin.tv has released a major update to its free video streaming app. The title was previously limited to viewing streams, but can now broadcast over a Wi-Fi or 3G connection. The option is restricted to the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and also requires iOS 4 or better. Some other features of the app include search, two-way chats with viewers and Twitter and Facebook integration. On an iPhone 4, users can exploit twin cameras and the LED flash.
