TomTom Go Live 1000, Magellan flagships hit FCC

The FCC has leaked word of two new including the Magellan RoadMate 9020/9055 as well as TomTom's Go Live 1000. More is known about the latter device, as it will be based on a WebKit interface, which is new for TomTom. It will sport a capacitative touchscreen, a magnetic mount and connected services such as real-time traffic updates.

It will also be joined by the Go 1000, Go 7100 and Go Live 9100 units, though how each differs is unknown. The Live-badged units get live traffic updates, where the others don't, however. The Go Live 1000 will sport a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen along with a 500MHz ARM11 processor coupled with a dedicated graphics processor. There will also be 4GB of onboard storage.

Technical specs on the Magellan units are non-existent, though it is expected they will be the new flagships at the company. Judging from the photos in the FCC test report, the 9055 is likely to have a five-inch touchscreen.

Release dates and prices for any of the above models aren't known, but are expected to be revealed fairly soon. [via GPSTrackLog and Pocket-Lint]
