T-Mobile leak shows two Windows Phone 7 devices
In what appears to be a leak from a T-Mobile company insider, a list purporting to show accessories for upcoming range of new handsets has been snapped and leaked. Appearing on the TmoNews list are the Windows Phone 7-based HTC HD7 and what may be a T-Mobile variant of the Windows Phone 7 LG Optimus 7 called the LG Optimus T. Other contenders shown are the Blackberry Bold 9780 and the Motorola Jordan/Defy. Less familiar appearances on the list are the Motorola Begonia and two Dell models referred to as the Claire and the Comet.
One or both of the Dell phones are likely to be variants of those seen in leaks earlier this year.
Regardless of model, most of the accessories are shown to be coming on November 1 or 15. The phones themselves won't necessarily ship at the same time, but the timing could see T-Mobile get a signficant number of new smartphones within the next several weeks. Microsoft has already said it plans a US launch of Windows Phone 7 in November and could have one or more devices on each American carrier.
