New Scosche case offers 4 iPad display views
Speck has launched three new iPad bags, while Scosche has unveiled the foldIO iPad case. Speck's A-Line 10 is a handbag-style product with a zippered, padded and microfleece-lined main compartment. Two zippered pockets in the interior store other items, and include passthroughs for headphone cords. The A-10 comes in gray and purple, black and gray, or brown and red.
The PortPack 10 is a customizable shoulder bag that can unzip to add capacity. It has extra zippered pockets, and a microfleece liner for the iPad section. An adjustable shoulder strap and a headphone passthrough are also present. It comes in black, with a plaid gray and blue interior.
The CorePack FLY 10 is an airport-friendly butterfly design which converts into a portable work surface. It has both a removable shoulder strap and a built-in briefcase handle, in addition to the expected headphone passthrough and zippered, padded, microfleece-lined main compartment.
The A-Line 10 sells for $60, the PortPack 10 is $50 and the CorePack FLY 10 is $50.
Scosche's foldIO is a folio case that can display an iPad at multiple angles. The accessory wraps around with soft, suede-like material, while still offering port access. When unfolded the case allows both a low-angled typing position and three high-angled positions for browsing media.
The exterior of the case is finished in a black leather or carbon fiber texture. Either version is $50, and currently shipping.
