Full metal Acer smartphone with Froyo spotted

A new advanced Android phone from Acer has been spotted in Russia, dubbed Liquid Metal. Leak source MyOpera understands its body will be made from a metal alloy, and the handset will sport Android 2.2 under a customized skin called Acer Shell 4.0. Processing power will come from an 800MHz Qualcomm CPU and an Adreno 205 graphics processor.

It should center on a 3.6-inch, 800x480 capacitive multi-touch display and carry 512MB of RAM along with an equal amount of ROM. When the handset launches at an unknown date, it will also bring with it Bluetooth 3.0, Dolby Mobile and a camera with flash, though its megapixel count hasn't been revealed. Curiously, the photos do not reveal the front of the device, but do reveal it will be available in at least two colors.
