Gant charts upgraded in v8 with dependency support

Oranged Software has launched Studiometry 8, updating its business management software. Studiometry handles contact management, builds estimates, tracks work and bills clients. The software has an easy interface for daily data entry. It can track work time through timesheets, running timers and manual entry. There is also a companion iOS app with full syncing capability.

Version 8 adds Blueprints, which track commonly used work items and add them to projects and project templates. A new integrated calendar combines employee calendars, to dos, and invoices into the main window for easy tracking of day-to-day business. Gant charts have been upgraded in v8, rebuilt to include workweeks, visual dependencies, and automatic updates of dependent items. The new version also includes project archiving and other smaller changes, like receipts, new icons and interface elements.

Studiometry 8 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. It costs $200 for a single user, $925 for a five-pack, $3200 for a 20-pack and $4000 for a site license.
