WebOS 2.0 images show Dropbox, MobileMe support

A large number of screen captures of a beta 1 build of webOS 2.0 have been leaked thanks to a Chinese website. The images reveal a slightly different interface, including an icon spread of three columns by four rows. There is also evidence of a built-in Dropbox file management hook and, unusually, MobileMe file syncing support.

Whether or not the MobileMe support is official isn't known. Apple readily offers MobileMe on both Macs and Windows PCs, but it has often kept mobile support to its own devices as a selling point. A limitation to file transfers, though, may let HP simply use readily available source material; this wouldn't necessarily explain the use of the official logo.

The images also show multiple IM networks, support for Cisco VPN connections, Google Docs and the ability to store files made in Quickoffice on an Internet server. WebOS is currently in a closed, limited beta, but when it exits beta isn't known and might not occur before 2011.
