NI ships Komplete 7 with new instruments and effects

Bundles several production apps
Native Instruments has launched Komplete 7, an updated version of the company's audio production suite. The software bundles together 24 different titles in total, including core programs such as Reaktor 5.5, Kontakt 4 and Guitar Rig 4 Pro. Also included are a battery of effect and instrument packs, amongst which are five new ones: Reaktor Prism, Rammfire, Reflektor, Traktor's 12 and Vintage Organs.
Reaktor Prism is a modal synthesizer, while Reflektor handles reverb processing for Guitar Rig 4. Traktor's 12 brings Traktor effects outside of the DJ realm, and Rammfire emulates the amp setup used by industrial rock band Rammstein. Vintage Organs, finally, simulates some of the electromagnetic organs of the 1960s and '70s.
Komplete 7 costs $559, but comes with a $60 voucher for anything from the NI Online Shop in the Komplete Instruments and Effects series. The same is true of Komplete 7 Elements, a $119 version of the suite limited to simpler versions of Kontakt, Kore, Reaktor and Guitar Rig, as well as 12GB of samples from collections such as Absynth, Abbey Road and Massive. The five new packs in Komplete 7 can also be downloaded separately from NI: Rammfire is $59, Reaktor Prism is $79, Reflektor is $119, Traktor's 12 is $79 and Vintage Organs is $119.
