LG confirms WP7-packing Optimus 7 with flick-based sharing

LG Optimus 7 to use flicks for DLNA sharing

LG at the end of the IFA show confirmed the existence of the Windows Phone 7-based GW910 and detailed its signature feature. The newly-christened Optimus 7 will support DLNA+ media sharing and can push any audio, photos or video to a host device with a gesture. A flick automatically moves the video to a DLNA-aware TV, a PS3 or a similar hub without the elaborate effort.

The phone received few other hardware details from LG, although the firm did confirm enough performance for 720p video and the existence of a QWERTY keyboard. It as already been spotted carrying a five-megapixel camera, and it should have an 800x480 display.

LG will only say that it's shipping the Optimus 7 in the fall, although it's now most likely to reach AT&T in November after a European unveiling in October.
