Panasonic intros Full HD 3D Blu-ray home theaters

Panasonic today showed off its first 108p 3D Blu-ray home theater systems, including the SC-BTT750 and SC-BTT350. Each is Viera Cast-compatible and allows access to Netflix, Amazon VOD, YouTube, Picasa, Bloomberg TV, weather and other services. The BTT750 has a Wi-Fi adapter while a DY-WL10 adapter needs to be purchased separately for the BTT350.

The SC-BTT750 is bundled with two front Tall Boy speakers, which, together with the center channel, have a bamboo cone to eliminate acoustic reflections. The Kelton subwoofer delivers 250W of power, and the entire system is rated at 1,000W. It includes four satellite speakers along with the center channel and subwoofer. It can deliver virtual 7.1-channel surround sound, however.

The SC-BTT350 gets four small surround speakers that need to be mounted or put up on stands. It is rated at the same 1,000W of continuous power.

Both systems have an integrated Universal Dock for iPod/iPhone, as well as an SD memory card. They can integrate the rear speakers wirelessly with an optional SH-FX71 kit.

Panasonic's Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Home Theater systems will be available in September, with the SC-BTT750 priced at $750 and the SC-BTT350 at $500. The DY-WL10 is now available for $90.
