MacBUS to demonstrate Dimdim
Punch! Software is currently hosting an open beta for the next major release of Home and Landscape Design Studio Pro, while MacBUS has announced that its next meeting will take place on August 31st, and will demonstrate the online meeting tool, Dimdim
An open beta test of the next major version of Punch! Home and Landscape Design Studio Pro for Mac is currently being offered by Punch! Software. The software includes tools for designing custom homes with realistic lighting effects, plant growth, and 3D views. The beta release includes a brand new user interface, along with an enhanced QuickStart mode, an updated Inspector, a History Browser, and more. Those interested in testing the new software can sign up online by submitting a valid e-mail address. A link will then be sent to that address with additional information about participating in the beta, including details on how to ask questions and provide feedback using the forums.
Next MacBUS meeting set to demonstrate Dimdim
The Macintosh Business Users Society of Greater Philadelphia has announced that its next meeting will be held on August 31st at 7pm. At this months meeting attendees will get the chance to watch a demonstration of Dimdim, a virtual meeting hosting service. The online tool allows up to 1000 people to share documents, web pages, whiteboards, and more, all from within a web browser. With Dimdim Pro users are also provided with high quality microphone and webcam sharing, along with free audio conferencing and unlimited public and private text chat.
