Updates for both Twixtor and ReelSmart Motion Blur have been released by RE:Vision Effects, while NimbleHost has announced the launch of a new RapidWeaver plug-in, Codafy
RE:Vision Effects has announced that new versions of its Twixtor and ReelSmart Motion Blur plug-ins for Autodesk Advanced Systems are now available. Twixtor is a tool that allows users to modify the speed of image sequences, while ReelSmart Motion Blur can be used to automatically add more natural-looking motion blur to a sequence. The updates include support for Smoke on Mac, along with floating point image support, floating license support, and speed enhancements. A single license for ReelSmart Motion Blur v4 can be purchased for $190, while a floating license costs $285. Meanwhile, an individual Twixtor license costs $795, and a floating license runs for $1,195.
Codafy bring Firebug functionality to RapidWeaver
A new RapidWeaver plug-in, which adds native Firebug functionality, has been released by NimbleHost. The free Codafy plug-in can help web designers see how the underlying HTML, Javascript, and CSS code of their sites relate to the actual design, which in turn can improve workflow and reduce development time. By enabling the open source WebKit Web Inspector and using a split-panel view, Codafy allows developers to preview their code and make any necessary changes without the need to launch any additional applications. Also integrated with Codafy is the javascript-based XRAY Inspector, which can be used with the RapidWeaver plugin Stacks via the included XRAY Inspector stack.
