Android-powered ViewPad 7 photos, specs leaked

Photos and specs of what is believed to be ViewSonic's 7-inch, Android-powered tablet, the ViewPad 7, have been leaked. Confirmed earlier this week by the maker itself, the device will sport a 3G connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a GPS sensor. The part number, VPDA7500B-1, was also revealed by an "inside man" for Pocket-lint.

The photos of the powered-down tablet also reveal the front-facing camera, and that the device will also get a rear-facing camera along with a USB connection and a microSD card slot. An ARM CPU is believed to power the device.

Both the ViewPad 7 and a larger ViewPad 10, with a 10-inch screen, Intel processor and the option to boot into Windows or Android, are expected to be officially unveiled at the IFA show in Berlin next week.

    Tech companies and originality

Wow, there really isn't a single tech company that hires creative people who can come up with original designs.

Also 16x9 displays just don't feel right on tablets. They're both too tall and too wide (and squat). The only thing they're optimized for is watching movies.
