iTunes Connect adds Payments and Financial Reports module

updated 10:55 pm EDT, Wed August 25, 2010

Provides details on all financial reports

Apple has added a new Payments and Financial Reports module to the iTunes Connect suite of tools for App Store developers. The new module provides users with a wide range of additional financial details. It includes information on the last payment made, the amount currently owed, earnings from previous months, and a rolling transaction history. Users can also view a record of unit sales and payments trends.

The company has streamlined payment handling, allowing users to combine all worldwide proceeds into a single consolidated payment, while the interface has been improved to provide greater presentation of payment data such as amounts owed and amounts earned. Apple has also reduced the threshold required to be paid, which potentially increases payment frequency for many developers

iTunes Connect is free service for any App Store developer.
