New poker and card games for Mac

Macgamestore.com has introduced two new games, Hoyle Card Games 2011, and Golden Trails: The New Western Rush. Hoyle Card Games 2011 is comprised of both team-style and solo card games ranging from Old Maid and Solitaire to Poker and Blackjack. It offers new larger easy-to-read playing cards, along with additional slots games and character selection. Customization options allow players to alter everything from character appearance, card font-color and backs, and rules of play. Finally, players can use their game winnings to add selections or upgrades to their characters and trophy room.

Golden Trails: The New Western Rush has players take control of Sheriff Jack, who must stop a group of bandits that robbed the bank in the provincial Sunnyvale. In order to find the criminals players will have to explore over 32 different locations, such as the Grand Canyon, gold mines, and ranches. Other features include dozens of western characters to interact with, both an Unlimited mode and Secret Mission game, and 8 bonus levels to play through.

Hoyle Card Games 2011 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher and priced at $20, while Golden Trails: The New Western Rush requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and costs $10. FREE downloadable demos are also available for both games.
