Following the success of a similar event in Naples, the expo will feature more than 50 manufacturers and developers from around the world, who will be demonstrating their business solutions. Different sessions will be taking place throughout the day, with a free lunch being provided to those who register online.
PortAuthority v3.1 released with native printing support and Keychain password storage
Code by Kevin has released an update to PortAuthority, its GUI for the MacPorts Unix software management system. By providing a combination of windows, icons, and menus, PortAuthority allows users to search, install, update, and remove MacPorts programs and the MacPorts infrastructure itself. In the v3.1 update, Keychain is used to store all password information and support for native printing has been added. Also new to the update is support for clickable links in the data display, as well as the addition of a status icon in the menubar. A 30-day demo of PortAuthority 3.1 can be downloaded online for free, while a license can be purchased online for $25.
