All models offer compact housings

Shuttle has expanded its line of compact PCs with the XS350 series, which is available in several configurations. Each model is powered by a dual-core Atom D510 processor and Intel chipset, enabling the components to be crammed into a 1.5-inch thick housing.

The "everyday" edition offers integrated Intel graphics, 1GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive, and an empty bay for adding an optical drive at a later time. The "media" edition offers several upgrades including 2GB of memory, a 320GB hard drive, and a DVD burner.

Shuttle's "high-definition" edition is based on the same D510 processor, but with NVIDIA ION graphics components and support for 1080p output via HDMI. The flagship model also features 2GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive, and a DVD burner.

The basic XS350 is now available directly from retailers for $240, while the media edition brings the price up to $290. The HD edition can be purchased for $380.
