updated 04:00 pm EDT, Tue August 17, 2010

Fixes charging issues with USB ports

XP1-Power has released a new USB charging adapter for the iPad, the iXP1-500. The unit is designed specifically for people having issues with USB ports, which may not be capable of meeting an iPad's power requirements. The iXP1-500 regulates power in a way that facilitates charging via any USB connection.

The adapter must be paired with Apple's standard charge/sync cable. It features a compact design for easy carrying, and is colored white to match Apple gear. Orders are being taken from the company's website at cost of $5 per adapter.
