Adobe puts finished Flash 10 on Android Market

Adobe today took Flash 10.1 for Android out of its current beta stage and posted a finished version in Android Market. The release is currently available only for the Nexus One but should eventually reach all Android 2.2 devices in the future. Those using the beta that shipped near the Google OS launch can updated directly from Android Market.

Droid 2 owners already have Flash preinstalled, but it's unknown if they can updated to the final version right away.

Flash 10.1 is the first mobile version of the plugin to support the same content as desktop versions, including video, animations and games. It's primarily limited by performance, as Hulu and some other flash sites won't show some or all of their video on mobile. Adobe has tried to tackle interface problems by optionally having content fit the phone's display and to take focus away from the page while active.
