Adobe brings Photoshop Express app to the iPad and iPhone

updated 07:35 pm EDT, Thu August 12, 2010

Utility previously mobile

Adobe has released its Photoshop Express utility, formerly known as mobile, as a universal app for the iPad and iPhone. The iPad variant offers many of the same editing features as the previous edition, including tools for cropping, rotating, or flipping images. Users can also apply special effects such as Vibrant, Pop, Border and Vignette.

The iPad version adds a new organizer and support for portrait and landscape orientations, while allowing users to work on multiple photos in sequence. The UI has also been redesigned for organizing, editing and uploading photos.

Photoshop Express is now available as a free app from the App Store.

had this on an iphone for about a year, never used

i've had this since it was first released, and as a photoshop user on desktops/laptops, i have not found a use for it at all on an iphone. perhaps it makes more sense on an ipad, but i doubt it will be kept around on a mobile device by any hardcore PS user.

Hmm. When launching this it briefly displays an image an then opens that image in GoodReader. Every time so I can't use it. Anybody else?

    Same Goodreader Problem

I'm having the same issue... I can see a box when PS first launches and the Goodreader launches with some picture of a barn.

Click to get into the app

In the navbar at the bottom of the screen tap the second icon called "edit" and you're in.
