Templates should simplify regular orders
Apple has made a significant redesign of the Apple Store for Resellers, the backend service for schools, businesses, Apple Consultants and others needing wholesale Apple goods. While sporting a simplified look similar to other Apple websites, the store's purchase process is more complicated. People must first create a proposal, which an authorized purchasing agent then approves before an order is processed.
The major addition to the revised site is the concept of templates, notes AppleInsider. These can be used to speed up recurring orders, eliminating the need to hunt down products across different pages. After any order is completed, people can turn to the site again to track order status.
