White iPhone 4s in production?

Unit allegedly smuggled into Hong Kong


White iPhone 4s are in production, a report from China suggests. A worker at a mainland Chinese factory is claimed to have carried a white phone into Hong Kong, using the box for a black model as a disguise. Photos of the smuggled iPhone show white trim inside the headphone and docking ports, as well as slightly modified slits around the earpiece.

Apple has delayed the release of white iPhone 4s several times, but is believed to be past technical hurdles which prevented assembly. These may have included finding a proper paint thickness, and mixing the paint in such a way that it doesn't flake. Officially, the release date for white iPhones remains "later this year."

    Stupid person... the numbers they blurred can simply be recreated from the barcodes they did not cover enough.

    Wow...

    It looks like a white iPhone.

    Oooooooohhhhhhh!

    And because someone 'sneaked on out' (as in guy stole an iPod and risks jail time just so he can show it to friends and be 'special'), means nothing, as they still might be nowhere near production phase.

    Or it could be a photoshop job.
