FridgePad mounts iPad on the fridge
XtremeMac and Woodford Design have both expanded their respective lines of iPad accessories, which include the new XtremeMac cases and the FridgePad. The new cases consist of the Tuffwrap, Neoprene Sleeve, Nylon Sleeve, and Tuffshield. The Tuffwrap is a form-fitting silicone case designed to guard against scratches and dirt during everyday transportation, without blocking access to any controls or ports. The Neoprene Sleeve allows users to secure their iPad using a Velcro seal, while the integrated sleeve is designed for holding accessories.
The Nylon Sleeve offers a durable exterior with a soft lining to prevent scratches, with a zippered opening to help keep the device in place. The Tuffshield is more of a screen guard than a case, working as an anti-glare film that adheres using static electricity.
The FridgePad is a magnetic mounting device that allows users to connect their iPad to the refrigerator. Other features include a snap-in design for placing the iPad in the holder, along with an aluminum outer casing. The case can be used with the iPad oriented in portrait and landscape modes.
The four XtremeMac iPad guards are said to be available from the company’s website, each varying in price from $25 to $50. FridgePad is scheduled for release sometime in the fall for $80.
