KavaSoft has introduced a new 4.0 version of its war-based world domination game, iConquer. The object of the game is to take over all the countries and eventually continents of the world, by outmaneuvering and defeating multiple opposing armies. Features in v4.0 include new computer personalities with advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, full-screen support, and new message windows that provide players with a play-by-play account of all the actions taken in the game.
Additionally, the new release offers high-definition maps of various cities such as New York, Paris, and London, along with a new heads-up display window that can show armies, cards, statistic’s, and messages. Other abilities of the game vary from Bonjour networking support for connecting to other players, to support for multiplayer battles with up to six players.
iConquer is available as a free 10-game trial download, or the full version which is priced at $35. It requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and supports English, German, French, Japanese, Italian, and Dutch languages.

...hate the price. If Kavasoft priced iConquer at a more appropriate (say $10-$15) price, they'd get a heck of a lot more takers. I'm all for developers making a buck, but when you compare this app to many others of the same complexity level from the iTunes store the math just doesn't work.
