May fix VRAM, sleep problems
Apple is reportedly seeding a new update to Mac developers, simply called the Snow Leopard Graphics Update. As of build 10F2074, the code weighs in at 65.6MB. Although the exact problems it's supposed to fix are not mentioned, developers are being asked to focus on several areas. These include VRAM use, and problems with hot-plugging and waking from sleep.
Some Snow Leopard users are said to be complaining about game performance following the Mac OS X 10.6.4 update. Valve titles in particular may be affected, though the issue was earlier blamed on a combination of OpenGL, driver and game code. When the Graphics Update might go public is not yet clear.
