To celebrate its third anniversary, Readdle has announced a special discount on all of its products. The sale, which technically began August 1st, is set to last for 48 hours in total and reduces the price of every Readdle app, including ReaddleDocs and Calendars, to $1. The company is also giving away three iPads to Twitter followers. To enter the giveaway customers must first download any Readdle title, then follow the company on Twitter and retweet a special message. The contest will remain open until August 7th, after which three random winners will be selected.

Dracoventions updates 2empowerFM Dialogs Unlimited with 90+ features and fixes

Dracoventions has released an update to its FileMaker Pro plug-in, 2empowerFM Dialogs Unlimited, which allows users to display advanced dialogs. The v2.0 update includes more than 90 new features and fixes, such as new controls, improved documentation, and screen scaling support. New controls include radio buttons, password fields, and multi-line text input fields, each of which require only two parameters, the control type and the text it should display. Additionally, controls will now automatically align, size, line-break and position themselves in relation to the controls around them using official Apple and Microsoft Human Interface Guidelines. 2empowerFM Dialogs Unlimited is a free upgrade for anyone who purchased a license within the last year; a new single-user license costs $60.
