KOMPLETE 7 ELEMENTS adds GUITAR RIG 4, REAKTOR 5

Native Instruments has released upgrades to its music effects packages, KOMPLETE 7 and KOMPLETE 7 ELEMENTS. Geared toward music producers, KOMPLETE 7 combines 24 instruments and effects and includes the latest versions of ABSYNTH 5, BATTERY 3.1, FM8, GUITAR RIG 4.1, KONTAKT 4.1 and MASSIVE, resulting in a package with over 10,000 sounds and 90 GB of samples.

Version 7 adds five new products to the software set, starting with studio reverb REFLEKTOR, which features an advanced zero-latency convolution engine; and REAKTOR PRISM, a modal synthesizer. The package also includes TRAKTOR DJ software, VINTAGE ORGANS, and the new RAMMFIRE utility for amp emulation. Featured additions include the ABBEY ROAD 60s DRUMS vintage drum library, THE FINGER by Tim Exile, and sampled electric bass SCARBEE MM-BASS.

KOMPLETE 7 ELEMENTS is a smaller version of KOMPLETE 7, focusing on KONTAKT 4 and KORE 2 with over 2,000 production-ready sounds and 12 GB of studio quality samples. ELEMENTS 7 adds GUITAR RIG 4 and REAKTOR 5, with many of the larger package's Abbey Road drums and VSL orchestral samples. The new version also adds eight amp emulations and 27 GUITAR RIG effects.

Both production packages work as standalone production units or in tandem with VST, RTAS, Core Audio and other interfaces. Each requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and an Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz chip or better. ELEMENTS requires at least 1GB of RAM, while KOMPLETE 7 requires 2GB of RAM. KOMPLETE 7 is $560, while KOMPLETE 7 ELEMENTS retails for $120. Both packages are due to ship September 1.
