Best Buy giving away invisibleSHIELDs to iPhone 4 owners?

Tactic could be used to deflect refunds
Best Buy is giving out and/or installing Zagg's invisibleSHIELD 4FIX for people complaining about iPhone 4 reception problems, anecdotes suggest. While most invisibleSHIELDs are meant to cover the front or back of a handheld, the $10 4FIX package consists of transparent strips covering the iPhone 4's antenna band. These should in theory prevent a wraparound hand grip from cutting off signal.
Apple itself is giving out free cases to affected iPhone owners, so the Best Buy plan may be redundant. The offer could, however, be a way of deterring refund demands from upset customers. It's not certain if a phone must be bought from Best Buy in order to qualify for a 4FIX.

If you're unsure if it has to be purchased through best buy, call and ask or go to a location yourself. Just an idea.
