MacBUS Philly to host Chris Urban
This years Amsterdam FCPUG SuperMeet has been set and will take place on September 12th, while MacBUS has announced that its next Philadelphia meeting will offer information on both Google AdWords and Google Webmaster Tools
The third annual Amsterdam FCPUG SuperMeet is set to take place this fall on September 12 at the Hotel Krasnaplosky. SuperMeets provide the post production and broadcast communities with an opportunity to learn about new technology trends, as well as to connect with other individuals from similar fields. The Amsterdam SuperMeet Digital Showcase will feature more than 25 software and hardware developers including Adobe, Automatic Duck, Red Giant Software, Black Magic Design, and more.
In addition, this year's event will also feature an Open Screen Theatre that provides filmmakers with a 10-minute opportunity to showcase their work. Sign-ups for the theatre will begin as soon as the doors open at 4:30pm and will be available to SuperMeet ticket holders only. Anyone interested in attending can register online, with tickets purchased before August 12 costing $13 and then rising to $20. Special student discounts are also available to those with a valid student ID.
MacBUS to hold next Philadelphia meeting on July 27
The Macintosh Business Users Society of Greater Philadelphia will be holding its next meeting on July 27 at 6:30pm. The meeting will feature MacBUS member Chris Urban, a parter at Tetra Strategic Communications, who will be reviewing both Google AdWords and Good Webmaster Tools. Urban will demonstrate each of the tools by using real-word examples and situations, hopefully helping listeners to find a way to effectively integrate them into their own projects. The event will also feature a general Mac trouble shooting Q&A session so attendees are encouraged to come with questions.
