Developers expect first builds this week
Apple is said to be readying its first Mac OS 10.6.5 betas for developer trials, according to an AppleInsider report. Unnamed sources claim a small group of developers are expecting the OS builds sometime in the next several days, while the broader release to all participating developers is thought to be on its way this weekend.
Changes in the v10.6.5 betas remain unclear, however the update is expected to focus on graphics drivers and OpenGL performance. Version 10.6.4 brought several minor changes including bug fixes for iPhoto, Aperture and DVD Player.
Apple has yet to disclose a time-frame for the v10.6.5 public release.

Let's hope this fixes the horrible error in VMWare Fusion 3.1 !!!
"A serious error has occurred inside your computer's OpenGL graphics drivers." I have to reboot my Mac after getting this error in Fusion. It seems to happen at random times. I even have 3D acceleration turned off on my Win XP virtual machine.
Apparently Apple downgraded the graphics drivers in 10.6.4 and this broke VMWare Fusion 3.1.
