Phone calls can be received while in other apps
Skype has updated its iPhone app with new features that take advantage of iOS 4 capabilities. Users no longer have to keep v2.0.1 active to receive calls and IMs. Multitasking allows calls to be received even when other apps are running or the phone is locked. Users can even continue a call while switching to another app.
Skype for iPhone is now available as a free download on the app store. Users can make free Skype-to-Skype calls over Wi-Fi or 3G. The multitasking functionality is only supported through iOS 4 on the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS.

Battery Hog
It's a nice plus.
Just don't think you gonna replace your cel phone for skype, cause it's a damn battery hog. I left it in the background on a locked 3GS/iOS4.0.1 without use for about 40 min and my battery quickly went from 50% to 20%.
