Apple has added an extra comparison phone to its special webpage dealing with iPhone 4 reception problems. New in the group is the Nokia N97 mini, which Apple claims can drop in signal strength from seven bars to two when held in the same grip that kills an iPhone's reception. Nokia has previously tried to refute Apple's position that the iPhone 4 is simply suffering from an industry-wide flaw.
Why Apple would continue adding to the page is uncertain. The company may be interested in deflecting accusations from Nokia, or simply in bolstering the evidence in its favor. At a minimum it indicates that Apple is still interested in managing public perception of the iPhone's problems, which have reached mainstream news coverage and forced the company to give out refunds and free cases.
