Improved IMAP speed and APPEND support

Infinity Data Systems has launched a new 2.0 version of its Euroda-style e-mail application, MailForge. The program can be used to mange, store, and send text e-mails or HTML, and provides tools for controlling the timing of outgoing messages. The latest release offers a wide range of new and enhanced features, including improved speed for opening mailboxes and deleting e-mails, as well as full integrated with SpamSieve for users who own a licensed copy.

Additionally, the update offers support for both Plain Text and HTML signatures and stationary, and delivers a series of enhancements to the IMAP. Other new features include inline image compatibility, and full WYSIWYG HTML composition. The changes to the IMAP range from improved speed and APPEND support, to a re-written IMAP socket.

MailForge 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher and priced at $20 for a single user license. Current registered owners of MailForge can receive the new upgrade for free.
