PFiddlsesoft updates accessibility frameworks
Egnyte has introduced a new mobile suite that provides smartphone owners access to files stored online, while PFiddlesoft has announced the release of an upgrade version of its Cocoa frameworks
A new mobile suite that allows business users to share and access files from several popular smartphones has been released by Egnyte. The Egnyte Everywhere suite includes options for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices, in addition to the iPad. iPhone and iPad users can access the service through a free application that can be found in the App Store, while other smartphone users can use a new mobile site that enables secure access to an Egnyte file server. Through the new mobile suite users are able to manage users and folder permissions, access shared and private folders, use keyword searches to find files, and more. Additionally, the iPhone app takes advantage of new features found in iOS 4, including support for multitasking and iTunes file sharing.
PFiddlesoft releases updated accessibility frameworks
PFiddlesoft has launched an upgraded version of PFiddlesoft Frameworks, a set of Cocoa frameworks for creating assistive applications for individuals with disabilities. The frameworks have been updated to include the PFAssistive Framework version 3.1.1 and the PFEventTaps Framework 1.3.1. The update also allows the frameworks to be used with an assistive application that runs as a trusted accessibility process, meaning users don't have to turn on the global "Enable access for assistive devices" setting in the Universal Access pane of System Preferences.
