Discovery again sues Amazon over patents

Discovery Communications has filed a second complaint against Amazon on Wednesday. Like the ">earlier lawsuit, it alleges the online retailer infringes two patents related to the delivery of electronic books and security of the Kindle e-book reader. The infringement htouches on the working of book delivery from the Amazon website and the services related to all versions of the Kindle hardware and software.

The complaint was filed in Delaware's federal district court, and the TV channel host claims it was issued the affected patents in 1999 and 2007. Discovery is seeking an unspecified set of royalties. Neither of the involved companies has commented on the new legal action.
