iPhone 4 heading to Italy by July 30?

updated 02:20 pm EDT, Mon July 12, 2010

Latest rumor pointing to international launch

The iPhone 4 may be set to launch in Italy sometime before July 30. The device is said to be heading to the three largest local carriers including Vodafone, 3 and TIM Italy, unnamed sources have told Notebook Italy.

Although Apple has yet to provide specific dates for international launches, the Italian report corroborates several other leaks suggesting the handsets will arrive between July 28 and the end of the month. Customers in Spain may be able to buy the iPhone 4 from Movistar on the 28th, although the carrier acknowledged that a supply hiccup could push the date back further.

The iPhone 4 was initially promised to launch in 18 countries by the end of the month.
