Pro version has fullscreen playback, screenshots
Elmedia has launched a self-named media player with extended Flash capabilities. The Elmedia Player supports a variety of common formats, such as SWF, EXE, FLV, AVI, MOV and MPEG, as well as Silverlight's XAP, and Real's RM and RV. A built-in web browser allows viewing online video in addition to any local content.
An iTunes-like interface is used to access a person's video library. This includes static and smart playlists, as well as volume adjustment that -- uniquely for Flash files -- does not affect system volume.
A Pro version of the Player allows for downloading online videos and their external resources. It can also display movies in fullscreen mode, and use an Always on Top option to float the app's window above all others. Screencapture options allow for part or all of a movie to be saved as a sequence of screenshots.
Elmedia Player is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, including Snow Leopard. The standard player is offered for free, while the Pro version costs $20 under a single license or $40 for a family three-pack.

Great an application that lets you save Flash files so the then can be played back on mobile devices...Opps thats not right. They simply down load to a PC or Mac but are less then useful in the real life area of mobile devices. Please will someone put the power of the "Force" to work for Good and not evil. The hottest selling electronics -regardless of brand - all are in the mobile space. Maybe MACNN needs a new page for these items that no average user will ever care about.
